This site sets no cookies. Here is what that means, and what we would do if it ever changed.
The short answer
This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixel and no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
Most cookie policies are long because the site behind them collects a great deal. Ours is short because this one does not. The rest of this page explains what that means in practice, and what we would tell you if it ever changed.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, so that it can recognise your browser on a later visit. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, tracking pixels, and device fingerprinting — do a similar job by different means. Privacy law generally treats them all the same way, and so does this policy.
They are used for useful things, such as remembering that you are signed in, and for less welcome ones, such as following you between websites to build an advertising profile.

We check this when the site changes. It was last checked on the date shown at the top of this page.
What this site does instead
We do not need to recognise you between visits, so we do not try to. Specifically, this site does not:
- set any cookie, for any purpose;
- use local storage, session storage or any other browser storage to hold anything about you;
- run Google Analytics or any other analytics product;
- carry an advertising, remarketing or conversion pixel from any network;
- embed social media widgets, like buttons, videos or comment systems;
- build a profile of you, or share one with anyone.
Filters on our training and work pages remember your selection by putting it in the page address, not in a cookie. That is why you can copy the link and share a filtered view — and why nothing about your choice is stored once you close the tab.
How pages reach you
Every file this site asks your browser to fetch comes from meneconsulting.com: the pages, the stylesheets, the scripts, the images and the typefaces. No third-party font service, analytics or advertising network is contacted.
Pages are delivered through our hosting provider’s content delivery network, which serves each visitor from a nearby server. Like any web server, it receives your IP address in order to send you the page, and it keeps standard access logs recording IP addresses, requested pages and timestamps for security and diagnosis. These are not cookies, they are not stored on your device, and they are not used to build a profile or identify individual visitors. Our Privacy Policy explains how they are handled.
Earlier versions of this site loaded a font from Google and a script from a public CDN, which disclosed every visitor’s IP address to those companies even without a cookie. They now ship with the site instead.
Links to social media
Our footer links to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. These are ordinary links drawn as icons on our own pages — nothing is loaded from those platforms while you are here, so they learn nothing about your visit.
If you click through, you leave our site and that platform’s own cookies and policies apply from that point.
Consent and the law
Rules on cookies differ around the world, and this site is built to meet the strictest of them:
- European Union and United Kingdom
- The ePrivacy Directive and the UK’s Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations require consent before storing or reading anything on your device that is not strictly necessary. We store and read nothing, so no consent is needed and no banner is shown.
- Malaysia
- The Personal Data Protection Act 2010 governs personal data collected through any means, including cookies. None is collected this way.
- California and other US states
- We do not sell or share personal information, or use it for targeted advertising, through cookies or otherwise.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signal. This site already behaves as those signals ask, whether or not your browser sends one. If we ever introduce tracking, we will treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out.
If this changes
If we later add analytics, an embedded video, a booking widget, a chat tool or anything else that sets cookies or uses browser storage, we will:
- update this page before that change goes live;
- list what is set, by whom, for what purpose and for how long;
- ask for your consent first, for anything that is not strictly necessary, through a banner that lets you decline as easily as accept, and lets you change your mind later;
- keep non-essential cookies switched off until you have said yes.
We will not turn on tracking quietly and update the policy afterwards.
Controlling cookies yourself
Nothing here needs blocking, but you can control cookies for any site through your browser settings, usually under Privacy or Site settings. You can block them, delete existing ones, or browse privately. Guidance is available from your browser’s help pages, such as those for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.
Be aware that blocking cookies across the board will break sites that legitimately rely on them, such as anything you sign in to. Blocking them will not affect this site.
